Singaporean menswear atelier, Yeossal, has recently included a new model to their collection: The Amoy Oxford. This unique oxford is a stunner of a shoe, blending different ideas to create a very unique model that you won’t find elsewhere. It is a cap toe oxford with the allure of a whole cut oxford. Its patina plays on the reinforcements of the inner workings of the shoe, giving light patches to follow non-existing seams. It is beautiful and unique at the same time.

The medallion on the outside heel counter further reinforces its uniqueness. It is a rare and bold move to place medallions in non-conventional areas of the shoe. Yeossal’s Amoy oxford is surely a model to contend with. All too often are cap toes oxfords quite stiff and monotonous. The Amoy gives you something different, some playful yet still something sharp and elegant.

Yeossal’s hand welted collection is a Made to Order offering where you select all of the details of the shoes shown. For example, you see this model as is, but are able to change the last, sole, color, etc. But even more so, you can request last adjustments and heel height. You can also have dual coloring on your sole. For example, purple on the fiddleback section of the sole’s waist with red on the forefoot part of the sole. How cool is that?!
This is just one of many of their very cool shoes on offer. I highly suggest checking out their hand welted collection. The price-to-quality ratio is very good!
