Carmina’s 3D Bespoke Service is back on the West Coast in their new San Francisco location, this September 25th-28th. Carmina launched this service for the first time in NYC last year but have since gone back to refine the service and relaunch it in their new shop. When they first launched last year, I got measured up and was made a very cool pair of two-tone oxfords. I have yet to showcase these shoes but let’s just say that I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome!
I won’t lie, I never trusted that a 3D scanning machine could achieve the results of a bespoke shoemaker, but when I tried my own pair I cannot even lie: they fit perfectly. I hate to say it, but they fit even better than other bespoke shoes I have owned. It was a great surprise to experience as I was doubtful, especially as I have very tricky feet with shallow toes and a bunch of other abnormalities.
At the time that I received my shoes, they were only offering one last to build off of. I presume they have been trying to expand this offering by extending it to their other lasts, which of course, would heighten the appeal of the offering and interest of the people. They were also only offering it on an oxford model. I definitely suggest reaching out to them to make sure you understand what models are available before making any travel plans.

If you have been curious about Carmina’s 3D Bespoke Service, make sure to get over to their new San Francisco shop location at 54 Geary St. I promise you won’t be let down in terms of fit! I will hopefully showcase my pair soon. Just want to get some clarification on the questions above that I am uncertain of.
