Pierre Corthay has gone back to the drawing block and created the new Corthay model, The Vexin. This is my kind of derby: sleek, with two-tone capatilities and versatile. It has a dash of elegance coupled with more casual detailing that allows the wearer to easily dress it up or down. A perfect combination for today’s more casual society.

It is not often that Corthay drops a completely new model but it is always exciting. Pierre, being one of my all-time favorite designers, rarely drops the ball on new styles. You can see that the Vexin follows the classic Corthay styling and fluidity with unique lines, thoughful patina to accentuate those lines and a sharp last to round it all out!

The Vexin has yet to hit Corthay’s website but is currently available as an in-store purchase at any of their shops around the world. As you can see here in the photos, the combinations that you can put together are endless, especially when you factor in the custom patina. I also love the lightweight terrain style sole that appears to offer comfort yet remain sleek and stylish.

If you are close to a Corthay shop make sure to go check out the new Vexin model. If you are already a Corthay wearer I am sure this will be an easy piece to add to your collection!
