Stefano Bemer has really been doing a lot these past couple of years, from a beautiful showroom in Soho, to buying out multiple clothing brands and finally their very own street-level shop on Park Avenue. I dare say they have done the American Dream in a very short time here in NYC. And rightfully so! It is always great to see the legacy of Stefano Bemer grow as a man who gave so much to many of the shoemakers around today. Today we look at the new Stefano Bemer NYC store.

The brand new shop is beautiful. It is no surprise as Stefano Bemer’s new owner, Tommaso Melani, has a great eye for interior design. You know this if you have even been to their store in Florence or the old showroom in Soho. It may sound like I am sucking up here but it really is great to see the Stefano Bemer legacy come so far. Most do not know this but when I was 25, I went around the US trying to sell Stefano Bemer’s shoes to the top stores in NYC, LA, San Fran, Texas and nobody entertained the idea. Most of them hadn’t even heard of Stefano Bemer then (15 years ago). But now, thanks to Melani, many of those brands now stock Bemer’s shoes.

Stefano Bemer’s NYC store encapsulates everything the brand has been working to achieve in the last few years. It is a one-stop emporium of all things menswear. You can now be dressed from head to toe, not only in RTW offerings but also in bespoke attire. The purchasing of several tailor brands has ensured the mirror reflection of what is offered in shoes is now also offered in clothing. A feat shared by few.

The shop is located on Park Ave between 57th and 58th Street. It is right in the heart of the shopping district for the higher-end brands. While you do not need an appointment to walk in and purchase something, I am sure it would be advisable for anyone looking for bespoke services as those require certain individuals to take measurements, who might not always be readily available.
If you live close to or in NYC, make sure to go check it out asap. They even sell bottled Negroni and shoe care materials. There is literally something for everyone! And if you plan to visit NYC, make sure to make that one of your destinations:
475 Park Avenue, Ground floor, Manhattan, NYC.

Some more of the finer things in life.
Indeed!
Hi Justin,
I’ve only recently come across your YouTube channel and have been enjoying your presentations very much.
The “Bespoke Cutter at work” in the above photo is Eric Jensen, an American who trained in Rome to become a Master Cutter before returning to the United States a few years ago. He was with Sartoria Gallo until earlier this year when he joined Stefano Bemer. Mr. Jensen has been featured on Kirby Allison’s YouTube channel a number of times. He takes the measurements and cuts the cloth before sending it on to the SF tailors in Flarence so you can commission an authentic Italian suit without having to travel to Italy.
I’ll be hooking up with Stefano Bemer’s Trunk Show in Las Vegas next week to order a suit as well as a pair of shoes. As a bonus, my understanding is that Signore Tommaso Bemer will be there as well, and I look forward to meeting him.
I hope to visit the NYC store for my first fitting early next year. Thanks for the photos of the shop. It looks lovely.
Thanks for sharing! I hope that you enjoy the trunk show. Let them know if you came from me and get a nice, complimentary gift 😉
