The new Gaziano & Girling butterfly loafers are now available as an MTO order option. This classic London style that was once only found in two stores is quickly becoming a staple model for all classic dress shoe brands as they seek an alternative to the ever-present penny and tassel loafers. I was wondering when this design would reach the collection of Gaziano & Girling and that day has finally come. To all of the die-hard G&G fans, rest assured you can now get this sleek style without having to go bespoke!

The Gaziano & Girling butterfly loafers are named the Pisa, and they are striking. Just leave it to Tony Gaziano to reinvent the butterfly strap elegantly and tastefully, keeping in line with tradition while putting his mark on it. The clever sideways diamond-like shape is unique, subtle, and better yet serves as more than just a flashy design. It is the harmonizing piece that connects the saddle straps that elegantly fall down the side of the quarter. Here Tony blends two of my favorite designs: The butterfly strap with the saddle strap. Well done Tone!

They are currently presented in four colorways, but being Made to Order, I imagine you can have at it with what you order. I could be wrong as my info on them was heavily image-involved with little knowledge of the ordering details. But if you are curious, then fret not, Gaziano & Girling can help by simply writing them.
All four of the new Gaziano & Girling butterfly loafers colors are beautiful. I wouldn’t even know which one I would go for. Being lazy these days, probably the suede one but that Vintage Rioja is a sure stunner! I can see that one getting the most orders. Time shall tell!

Incredibly unique take on this design. That contrast leather in the butterfly is really something and helps make the uniqueness of the design pop. Would love to go nuts with MTOs playing with that idea. So many different color and leather combos that would look incredible .
yup, they did well with this one!
Just ordered an MTO pair of these in dark green suede with the strap in green alligator nubuck; Not gonna lie, I’m kinda excited for them…
oh wow, that sounds like something that I would wear! Can’t wait to see them! And yes, I would be excited too!
