The boot of all boots was made by TYE Bespoke (aka TYE Shoemaker). I originally wrote about these boots back in 2019 when they first released them. I felt like they need a refresher though, hence the new post on them. I was hoping that in seeing these beauties, someone would create another version of them yet I never saw again anything remotely similar by TYE. Maybe they have been made but simply not marketed. Who knows? Either way, they deserve another shout-out!
I think that I will flat out say that the TYE Shoemaker, of Japan, is probably making the most interesting and amazing shoes. Not only is the quality of the shoemaking beyond phenomenal but the level of design and pattern-making is next-level. The design of this adelaide-like oxford boot with a hovering apron stitch is simply mind-blowing. And anyone that appreciates or understands pattern-making is going to understand just how amazing and perfect this boot is.
When you see shoe creations like this, it is normally too good to be true that they are easily accessible. Such is the case with TYE Bespoke. Being bespoke makers, you either have to go to Japan or visit them during one of their trunk shows. The only place I see them frequent for trunk shows though is in Singapore. Let’s hope that one day we can convince them to come to the US and showcase their greatness for all to see.
Years ago, I mentioned that I would love to see someone order this in navy grain with nude stitching and with a commando sole. Sadly no one did so. Maybe this time around someone will challenge the boot of all boots with a new colorway of this unique and striking bespoke boot. Who is up for the challenge?!

It is reassuring to see there are shoemakers designing and not merely copying… Not my cup of tea these boots, but there’s a lot of details to them… That stitching looks awesome indeed.
Pity they don’t suit my navy suits… (wink!)
