Unlined Berwick Loafers Unboxing
Here we take another look at some Unlined Berwick loafers that I sell on The Shoe Snob Marketplace site. I previously unboxed the soft-soled loafer you see here but in a larger size and different color. As it was not a perfect fit, I decided to have another go in a half size down to be able to give you all the feedback and hopefully have you confident in ordering your own pair.

The Soft-Soled Palma Flex Loafer
When I first unboxed this unlined Berwick loafer, in the Maple Suede, I was recommended a 40.5. I felt it was just a little too big for how I would wear these loafers in the Summer. So, I opted for a half-size down (40) in a new color (Navy Suede) and got the size and fit I was looking for. They are very comfortable and the perfect ‘knock-around’ shoe for me. I like to call these my ‘weekend style’ shoes. As a father and a husband who often runs errands on my weekends, this type of shoe is perfect for doing that in style and comfort!

The Unlined Belgian Loafer
The Unlined Belgian loafer is another one of the trends of the day. I like a Belgian cut and style, but truth be told, I cannot really wear these thin-soled versions. The bottoms of my feet are just too sensitive. It is a shame really as I like the idea of them but need a bit more of a robust sole (if leather). But for fit feedback, I wanted to try them on and let you know my response. They fit and feel great, in terms of hugging the foot. I took my normal size of 40.5 and that was the ticket for a nice, snug fit.
Both of these unlined Berwick loafers are $200 on The Shoe Snob Marketplace. They offer great value for money and will fit into any man’s wardrobe.
